Rigid waterproof sleeves are suitable for structures (buildings) where pipelines pass through walls and do not withstand pipeline vibration and expansion deformation. For areas with seismic fortification requirements, if rigid waterproof sleeves are used, flexible connections should be set up nearby on pipelines entering pool walls or building exterior walls. Type A is suitable for steel pipes.

1.Rigid waterproof casing is suitable for both cast iron pipes and non-metallic pipes, but the relevant dimensions should be corrected based on the thickness of the pipe wall used.

2. After the processing of the wing ring and steel sleeve is completed, the outer wall is coated with one coat of primer (including camphor or cold primer oil).

3. The material weight listed in the casing size table is the weight of the steel casing (the casing length L value is calculated based on 200mm) and the wing ring. The steel sleeve and wing ring are made of A3 material and welded with T42 welding rod.

4. When encountering non concrete walls, the wall where the sleeve passes through should be replaced with a concrete wall. The pouring range of concrete for Type II sleeve should be 200mm larger than the diameter of the wing ring (D4), and the sleeve must be fixed in the wall at once. The filler inside the casing should be tightly compacted.

5. The thickness of the concrete wall at the waterproof sleeve should not be less than 200mm, otherwise one or both sides of the wall should be thickened. The diameter of the thickened part should be at least 200mm larger than the diameter of the wing ring (D4).

6. Rigid waterproof casing is often filled with oilseed hemp and asbestos cement, and then compacted tightly after filling.

Application

Used in places with high waterproof requirements, such as water outlet of a pool. When only waterproof requirements are required, use rigid waterproof sleeves.

Rigid waterproof wing rings are suitable for structures (buildings) that do not withstand pipeline vibration and expansion deformation at the point where pipelines pass through walls. They are suitable for the limited space at the point where pipelines pass through walls or for the updating and renovation of structures (buildings) or pipelines during pipeline installation. For areas with seismic fortification requirements, if rigid waterproof wing rings are used, flexible connections should be set up nearby on the pipelines entering the pool wall or building exterior wall.
